Who we are
UTIVO (Utilities, Tariffs & Value Optimisation) is the data controller for information you submit through this website.
What we collect
Your name, email, business address, contract details, fuel preferences and the energy bill you upload. We also record when you gave consent.
Why we use it
To prepare and send you a business energy quote (lawful basis: steps prior to entering a contract, with your consent).
If you opt in, to send occasional market updates and renewal reminders (lawful basis: consent). You can withdraw at any time.
Who sees it
Only our energy team. We may share relevant usage details with energy suppliers solely to obtain prices for you. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Uploaded bills are deleted after 12 months. Quote request details are kept for up to 24 months unless you become a customer, then for as long as your contract requires.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
How we protect it
Bills are stored in private, encrypted storage and are only accessible to authorised staff through short-lived secure links.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing. Contact us via the Contact page. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
